Formed in 2015, Viagra Boys began to explore their own language in what is normally known as punk rock. The Stockholm-based band has in their music influences from artists such as Screamin 'Jay Hawkins, Butthole Surfers, Suicide, Dead Kennedys. The story of Viagra Boys music began on a trivial karaoke night when Henrik “Benke” Höckert first heard Sebastian “Sebbe” Murphy's voice and then realized that they could create something special. Despite of the sexual connotation in the name of the band, this can be seen as a criticism of the man in society.
Widely recognized by the industry, Street Worms (2018) emerges to affirm the uniqueness in Viagra Boys music.
